When you came to my house and knocked on my door to ask me if I wanted my house painted, I was very suspicious. I didn't want you all to do it. Even as the work was being done, I was still wondering why you all were doing this for me. It was very well planned, that Saturday all of you showed up and just surrounded my house. Thank you so much, I am very happy with what you did at my house. Many of my friends said my house looked totally different and many of my closest friends didn't recognize that house without that big old tree in the front. I think more churches should get involved to help the elderly and the needy, we could all use a blessing every now and then. I feel like the smile of God is on my house, the sun shines directly on my house. I was like hidden from the world with that big tree in front. When the sun shines on my house, that is God smiling down on me. I sit on my porch just about every morning and have a cup of coffee and just enjoy this beautiful house. I want to be on my porch now. This has renewed my faith and I know God thinks "I am special.
